So I replaced the battery on my ipod and it has come to life-only when plugged in. I can go through the ipod see and listen to all my music. But why doesn’t my laptop recognize my ipod. It will power it but it doesn’t recognize it. It did for a brief moment with the new battery then nothing. I was hoping to pull off all the music. TIA!
Well, assuming it’s Apple have you tried with iTunes? If it doesn’t work after then, I think there’s most likely a problem with permissions of your computer OR iPod that prevents you from seeing or transferring files. And a tip: If it doesn’t work on your computer try another computer, it might be just your computer in that case
