I have a iphone 6s Plus, earpiece and speaker work, but I cannot hear incoming calls unless through the earpiece or speaker. Which of the phone microphones need to be replaced?
When I used the word ‘earpiece’ I meant for the ‘headphone’ To clarify , I under stand there are three microphones: One for ear, one for speaker, one for headphone. The headphone and speaker work. The one for ear does not. Update (05/04/2021) I will give your suggestion a shot.
Try replacing just the earpiece speaker up the top by the front camera assembly, using this part below; iPhone 6s Plus Earpiece Speaker If replacing this doesn’t resolve the sound issue you may need to replace the entire front camera assembly as it transmits the sound data from the logic board to the earpiece speaker, but attempt the easier and cheaper fix first :)
