Hello, I want to change the RAM of my MacBook, but unless I do it with the combination of: old RAM + new RAM. But it is not worth much because the old one is 2 GB, not 4 GB, so I would lose 2 GB. Someone to pass him by?
Well, it depends on which model you have! The 13” MacBook 2.26 GHz Core 2 Duo Poly/Uni (Late 09) can only support a max of 8 GB of RAM. The 13” MacBook 2.4 GHz Core 2 Duo (Mid 10) which can support 16 GB of RAM. You do need to make sure you are using the correct RAM and you don’t damage the logic board socket or clips.
