Hi everyone, My laptop model is Asus S510UA. A few days ago I spilled some water on my laptop. I had it checked and dried yet my laptop is still not functioning properly. The battery is still ok but my laptop cannot run on it (still recognize the battery). Moreover, the battery is also not charged when the laptop is plugged in (the battery stays at the same level of 72.1% all the time, not going up or down). I have tried all ways to fix it on my laptop from troubleshooting to reinstalling the driver but still cannot fix it. I notice that sometimes my laptop clock is wrong after the spillage too, but not always. I would love to know what may be wrong with my laptop. I do not have much knowledge of laptop so I am afraid that I may be overcharged. Thank you very much.

Thái Dương Nguyễn  most likely you shortened out the charging/power circuit on your motherboard. without a proper schematic and boardview it will be difficult to repair as a DIY project. You could disassemble your laptop and post some good pictures of both sides of the motherboard so we can see what you see. Adding images to an existing question
