Laptop: M3500Q Vivobook Pro 15 OLED, 2 months old My laptop doesn’t turn on when I press the power button. The power light turns on and the charging indicator light blinks white on and off, the fan doesn’t spin at all, but there is heat when i plug in the AC adapter so i assume it’s working. I was using the laptop normally and went away for a while, came back after an hour and the laptop wasn’t turning on. I use my laptop on my bed quite often but I wasn’t on my bed when this happened, could that be the cause of this? I attempted to hard reset by forcing shut down the laptop, unplugging AC adapter, hold power button for 1min, and replugging AC adapter but it didn’t work, I only left out the step of removing the battery since its hard to get to. I tried connecting to an external monitor but it didn’t seem to work. What else should I do?
Hi, As it is only 2 months old from new? do not attempt to open the laptop as you will void the manufacturer’s warranty. Contact the Asus customer service section in your location (check the user guide that came with the laptop for contact info) and make a claim for a warranty repair.
