I have had a problem the past weeks with my Xiaomi phone. It used to work very well but since I have swapped sim cards once, my phone doesn’t recognise my old sim card that used to work well in my Xiaomi phone. It says there is ‘no sim card’. Does anyone know how to help me with this issue ?
@astrid1997 check with your service provider and see if a new SIM card will work. It is possible that your card reader is not working right, but unlikely. It sounds more like something changed when you replaced the Sim card. If a new card will still not read, then you probably need to take it apart and check the card reader. There are no public repair manuals since Xiaomi apparently does not want the public to repair their phones, so it may be difficult for you to determine what has failed
