kindly clarify some info *does it download apps on its own (not just updating existing apps )? did you enable the installation of apps from unknown sources? if the answers are yes then maybe you have a real issue that may indeed require a factory reset but if the answer is no, then maybe you just have to disable the automatic update via google playstore. let me know which one you have.
