i got two 2G ram but failed to upgrade to 4G but i couldn’t . i was only able to reach 3G. one of the original rams has to be installed for it to work. so i decided to try different ones after reading lots of forums on here , I got two 4G ram however it refuses to boot with them both. Only one of them with the original 1G ram. I have tried all possible combinations and cant get more than 5G Its very frustrating to read that some are able to get it to work. Any tips?? what am i missing, why does it need the original 1G ram. Macbook 7.1 mid 2010
