Hi, hope anybody can help me. Sometimes when I open my iPhone 5 (iOS7.1.2) Camera-App there are purple stripes on the screen or it stays black, after a few seconds after the error occurs the App crashes. I already phoned the Apple Support and reseted the device but the problem isn’t solved yet. Which part needs to be changed to fix the problem? Thank you for your help. Lucas
Is it the back camera? Can you change to the other camera? Purple lines ussally point to a faulty camera!
Yes I do believe the camera has went bad try a new one and let us no how you get on
