First time the car has given trouble, 99 accord ex 4cyl. At about 45mph it stopped accelerating and the revs went to idle gave it gas and nothing happened, 5-10 seconds the engine turned off. Coasted to a stop, tried to start it but it wouldn’t turn over but I could hear the starter turning over but not the motor.
Could be a couple of things. Could be the timing belt. Have you ever replaced it before? How many miles on it? It should be done ever 100K. Is the car starting up? or is it just cranking?
