Chosen Solution
So today I was working on my MacBook and put it down for 5 minutes. I came back and the screen was black and I could not power the device on! I tried the SMC reset and PRAM, none have worked. There is no startup chime, fan noise or any other sign it is working. I tried disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it, it still doesn’t work. Has anyone got any advice or similar experiences? Thankyou in advance! I’m at a loss here
Let’s give this a try: Disconnect the battery again and disconnect everything else. Now press the power button for a good 15 secs. This will finish discharging the system. Now with the system sitting on its side plug in the MagSafe alone. The system should spontaneously start, did it?
