my Epson printer stopped printing in the middle of a document and now will no longer print. The queue is empty, I have replaced the ink, I have run all the tests (which won’t print out), rebooted, called it names, nothing will work. The document is sent to the printer and the printer acts like it’s printing but the paper comes out either blank or with little tiny light marks on it. I have run the nozzle cleaning. WF2540

  1. type “Services.msc” in search
  2. Double-click “Printer Spooler” in “Services”
  3. Click Stop and click OK.
  4. type “%WINDIR%\system32\spool\printers” and delete everything in the spooler list

type “devices and printers” in search and select “devices and printers” -Select your printer and right click and select “remove device” -Then on top of the page on the menu bar click on “add printer”

  • windows will now search for available printers connected to your computer through USB
  • select the appropriate printer that you want to set up and click on add device

Now Unplug the printer from both your PC and its power source. Press and hold power button for 10 seconds on the printer Now plug it back in try printing a draft now and let me know the results Best Regards, Sluggy
