How do I fix the sound on an Emerson flat screen TV, LED digital
@tiredmom this could be a main board issue. That is where most TV’s have the audio amp IC. You do want to try different inputs as well as try some headphones. Not sure if your set has an audio output to maybe soundbar etc. You need to try that as well. Let us know what you get. It will help if you tell us what model your TV is.
What is the fix for this? Is it to just never trust a less than two year old Emerson TV again?
The tv has a scratchy sound when music plays.I have to have it on highest level to here it at wall times no matter what channel.
