Chosen Solution
I purchased and installed headphone jack. When headphones completely plugged I only get sound out of right side. I must pull jack about half way up to get sound out both right and left headphone. I have tested the headphones on other devices and did not incur any problems.
Unfortunately, it sounds like you received a broken jack! There’s an outside chance it could be your motherboard, but I’d say buy another jack on eBay, they’re only 3 dollars or so. It’s worth a try. cheers! -tabormeister
