Why do I get message “Card not initialised” When I switch on my 4800Z camera?
First try the SD card in a PC. If you can read it, great. Make sure it is formatted to “FAT32”, not NTFS. If its formatted to NTFS, backup your photos then format it to FAT32. If you cannot read the card in a PC, then the card went bad. If you can read the card, and it is formatted to FAT32, then the camera went bad and the card reader needs to be repaired.
