My Epson XP605 works fine with single side printing but jams consistently when I switch to two-sided printing, Why.
If you remove the back panel there are guides. If one of them is bent, try to restore it. I had to remove it entirely. Then my two sided printing worked again.
When I removed the cover from the rear of the printer I saw a row of finger guides, and one was bent, Thinking the bent finger was the cause of paper jamming after printing on the first side I bent it back in line with the other finger guides and now it prints 2 sided without jamming.
If the paper tears when you remove it from the rollers, check the rollers and wheels for torn pieces of paper that might remain inside the printer. If pieces of paper remain in the printer, more paper jams can occur. Reach inside the printer through the ink cartridge access door, and then manually move the carriage. Regards,Peter
