I have a Samsung notebook Np350v5c A0EUK and I’m getting nowhere from what I’ve read online. The laptop is getting power with mains I get the blue light on power button and also I can hear the fans running underneath. But nothing appears on the screen not even a lighter black colour indicating that it’s booting. I’ve tried all sorts for a fix like take battery out and hold power button down for a minute. I’ve even tried hdmi connection and tried removing hdd and memory sticks and changing them around. Still no joy. Can anyone help? Thanks. Tim

If nothing comes on screen when the HDD is not connected it is most likely that the bios has become corrupted… 90% of the time (because it a laptop and the don’t tend to have things like duel bios and such) you are out of luck… (To a computer it’s like haveing brain damage and not knowing how to breath…) all I can suggest is to go to the developers website and see if they have instructions on flashing the bios (not likely)

After so many switch on/off Pressing f8 while restarting it suddenly started to recover giving me errors such as mountable boot and others It is working now but not properly Update (06/05/2016) The following is the summary My laptop Samsung Model NP350V5C-A0EUK I had many problems since upgrading last August from Windows 8 - but it has been working fine since December (fixed itself) However I updated 2 days ago with the following Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 for x64-based Systems (KB3156421) Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 for x64-based Systems (KB3152599) Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool for Windows 8, 8.1, 10 and Windows Server 2012, 2012 R2 x64 Edition - May 2016 (KB890830) Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 for x64-based Systems (KB3147458) I updated and restarted fine. While working on Chrome it stopped responding. I restarted but it went into on off restart loop first. where no access to HD, KB or WiFi was possible and I had off screen. After restarting several times taking the batteries off and back on pressing F8 the hard disc and wifi lights finally went on The first error displayed unmountable-boot volume that ws followed by several restarts untill suddenly wile talking to Samsung customer service ( who asked me to click on F4 then start it and keep my finger on it for endless tie) suddenly it came back.. and startied to fix itself…I didn’t get the 2nd error screen this time it was fixing something in the disc drive it is working now .but it is not working well for example I have critical error and restart each time I click on the windows start icon on the right bottom corner. Now can I uninstall and restore to my previous state as it was working fine?? under update history there is uninstall latest preview build not sure if window 10 has restore option as I can’t find it. The restore option in control panel displayes the following next the option (window 7)

You can swith off your computer, Then power on again, hold on to the shift key and keep pressing the f8 key on the keyboard, then on window 10 you will be 3 option, continue to window 10; troubleshoot; shutdown please click on troubleshoot, then read through to look for any option that has the safe-mode option, then click on it, usually the safe mode option is usually on the fourth option NO 4 press 4 on the keyboard then start up to safe mode cortana don’t function in safe mode so, Go to the control panel option and type recovery, then click on Open System Restore click on next and wait till it restores.
