Hi all, I’ve got an issue with my Playstation 3 60gb PAL unit. It’s currently not displaying a picture through HDMI or Component. I have done the following: Tried another TV with another set of cablesReset the PS3 video settings using the power button I have recently fixed an XBox 360 with the same issue by replacing the XClamps and was wondering if there was a similar repair guide for the Playstation 3? The only ones I found from Google are wanting money so I’m assuming they’re scams. Thanks in advance for any help.
hmmm… does your console shows orange light, beeps a few times and swithches itself off? if so, it will need to see specialist. it is called YLOD problem, and causes a lot of trouble, around the globe. How can I repair the YLOD problem ( yellow light of death ) nice example, of what people have already tried to do.
