Chosen Solution
Worked fine for a few months, then suddenly now when I power the tv on it is a black screen, no sound. If I change to another input, then back to tv input picture and sou d come on. I Have swapped the cable box and used a different hdmi input and still have the same problem.
@litespan try all the other inputs like coax, composite, component etc. as well. This may be a main board issue, but let us know what the other inputs show you.
