When I turn on my laptop it comes up with a blank screen and the fan kicks on and off. I restarted it and it says “preparing automatic repair” then diagnoses the computer. After the diagnosis it states “automatic repair: your pc did not start correctly” and gives me some options. I’ve tried to remove the battery, hold the power button for 2 mins and the put back together. I tried to hold the reset hole for 60 seconds and neither have been successful. Can someone help?
@tami5661 this sound like a corrupt OS issues. You may have to do a complete install of your OS. This does not sound like a hardware issue. But to verify this, change the bootorder in your BIOS to either a USB or optical disk and then start with a bootable media. If that works the way it is intended you are having an OS issue.
