My truck has a jerk when changing gears in an automatic there is also a loud click when it goes to 2nd gear
@joannmedley could be a transmission issue as well as a drive shaft U-joint issue or a differential issue. You will have to start narrowing it down. It might help if you can tell us what make and model your vehicle is. After that you want to isolate the loud clicking sound. Try to determine when and specifically where do you hear it. Let us know if this just started or if anything preceded this.
