I have a club cadet zero turn Z force 50 inch mower . when I engage the PTO the blade start turning as soon as I hit grass they stop like the belts are slipping. When I back up in the shortgrass they start turning again what could be my problem.
Start with a new belt and make sure the tension device is working properly. Make sure your blade is sharp. Raise the cutting height and make two passes.
