Chosen Solution

Hi, my keyboard and trackpad become completely unresponsive after I’ve logged into my user profile. I’ve seen other people have this issue on here but none of their questions ever got fully solved. I’ve tried resetting everything but nothing seems to be working. I can’t afford to get it fixed by Apple as it’s out of warranty so is there anything I can do?

When something wrong happens in one user account only, it is often caused by software that runs in that account: login items, lauch agents, etc. You may want to run the diagnostic tool Etrecheck and post its report here so we can have a look.
