Hi, I have a 2.5 years old 55" Samsung TV (Model No: UN55F6300AF) and sometimes it makes a shrill sound once in every hour or so. It is random though. There is no other problem with audio/video. It started happening couple of months ago and I am worried if it is something that needs to be fixed right away. Can you tell me what is happening and why? Thanks, Rajan
Rajan Malhotracould be an issues with the audio amplifier IC as well as other parts on the audio circuit. Since it is only very rarely that this happens, it might be hard to properly diagnose immediately. You can of course check the components on the main board and see if there is something obviously looking like it is damaged, but seriously I’d wait until the sound goes out completely.
