I received an old NES a few days ago… refurbished. New 72 pin connector,AV cables, new adapter in the box,new controllers and the console, which was cleaned, tested and worked before arriving to me. My issue is the nintendo sends the audio signal to my TV fine,i can hear it perfectly,i can even start a game and hear it “jump" or “pause" or when i “die". I don’t have a video signal coming from the nintendo to the TV. It’s a black screen and says no signal…while the sound is playing in the background. I was told the games i bought might have been dirty and dirtied the pins. So i cleaned them with windex and qtips until there was no more dirt inside. Tried again after they dried, same problem. Sound but no video. Do i try new cables? Do i try a RF switch instead? Could my TV be the problem? Theres obviously a problem between the nintendo and TV video signals. Please help me figure this out!

have a look at this repair video i did a while back https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MU9pCFeW… no video but sound can be caused by a bad cable or AV port but can also be caused by corrosion like in my case
