Hello, I am posting this question to ask how to fix a problem with my oud speaker/headphone jack, which arose after replacing the charger port (everything included). PROBLEM: When playing sound from the loud speaker, it will randomly switch to headphones while there are none in, leaving me with no sound. I have to fiddle with screws near the charger port to get the loud speaker to work again, but it is only temporary. Very temporary, maybe a minute at most. Or if I use headphones (which do work) and unplug them, volume works for a second. Any & all help/suggestions are appreciated!! Could it be installed incorrectly? Or just faulty equipment?

because your new port sucks. Buy a broken iPhone of the same type, storage does not matter, and then switch over the apple genuine headphone jack from busted phone to yours. make sure phone is same color. If there is any adhesive on the cable, REPLACE IT. 300lse by 3m should do the trick. This will magically restore your device to apple-genuine condition. Trust me, the q tip trick does nothing, and will just get a bunch of hair stuck up the jack, ruining it. I’ve done it before.
