I have had this system in my truck for over a year with no problems. It’s a 1200 watt Xplod amp with two 12" mtx audio subs. All of a sudden it has been shutting off when I turn my volume up. Then it doesn’t cut back on for a day or two. I’ve checked my wiring and all is good. Any clue on what could be causing this? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
All of these power amps have an internal current limiter so it will not destroy its self or speakers. I would say to go over the system wiring and repair or clean the dirt fro the cooling fins. No luck then email the manufacturer and get the low down from them. Good Luck
