I was not able to place under xbox one controller catagory, only gave me the elite one. I purchased a Xbox one design lab controller and anytime I play cod bo4 my analog stick drifts to the bottom right of the screen. I tried contacting Microsoft but they refuse to help and even place my warranty left on another one I purchased also from the design lab and that one works great no drift at all! I just would love to fix it or get it fixed properly as I’m so done with the employees at Microsoft.
@conwaytwitty … this is a common issue for controllers given time. this is caused by either the joysticks housings internal bands being broken or stretched out or dust or debris preventing the joystick from returning to neutral position. you can follow this guide to gain access to the internals of your device: Xbox One Wireless Controller Teardown from here, you can try and clean the joystick and housing with isopropyl alcohol and see if this corrects the issue. if this does not, or you find that the plastic bands are stretched or broken, youll want to replace the component. you can find the parts here: https://www.amazon.com/Onyehn-Joystick-W… here is a guide on the soldering process.
