When i try to turn on my computer there are white stripes and the apple with the progress bar and after that the screen goes black and nothing happens i was told it was the motherboard but i don’t think so, i tried plugging and unplugging the display port in the MoBo but still the same. What should i do? Give it up or do something about it.
To isolate the issue you’ll need to connect an external display to your system to see if the external is offering a clean image. If it is then your displays T-CON board has failed and you need a new display assembly. If you still see the bars then you need a new logic board as your system uses the Intel Iris graphics engine with in the CPU.
