Chosen Solution
i spilled water on my controller while playing and tried to dry it but i think i was too late. Now my right analog stick keeps looking down and i literally can’t look up . I tried to dry it with a hairdryer it worked for 3 minutes and then it didn’t anymore. After that i opened my controller and used the hairdryer at the right analog stick but it was even worse. Does anyone know how to solve this problem because i can’t find a solution and don’t have alcohol. And it’s been a day so it is dry it’s just the right analog stick right now.
well odds are the connection for the joystick has corrosion on it and the only way to repair it (if its not shorted out) is to get some rubbing alcohol in there and make sure its all dry. if you had opened it right away and flushed out the water with alcohol youd have a better chance of saving the controller.
