my copy of mario kart 64 crashes after about a minute or so. would anyone know why? i have tried cleaning it with rubbing alcohol it has been a few days since. still crashes. this is the circuitry
Hey, Jordan. If rubbing alcohol didn’t work try using a rubber pencil eraser on the terminals. Be gentle, but they should return to a gold shine. While you have the game cartridge open, closely inspect the traces on the circuit board for breaks. If you have a multimeter you could use it to test the integrity of the traces on the board more efficiently than just a visual inspection. Good luck with your repairs!
