Chosen Solution
Hi guys, so recently I‘ve noticed that my Cube takes really long to turn on. Like minutes. Also when I put the cable into the outlet it takes a couple of minutes for the green led on the bottom to turn on. Does anybody have an idea what could cause the problem? Also I might have to note that I live in Germany so we have 230V mains voltage, if there is any known defect in European Cubes. Thanks for your help!
@lambda possibly running into issues with either your power brick or your DC-DC board. You do want to check the output of those with a meter and see. Use these guides Power Mac G4 Cube Repair and teardown to check things over.
