After replacing the battery of my iPhone 3GS, I have a problem with the front panel: It keeps sticking out at the top of the device. It’s only for about 0.5mm, but it wasn’t like that before. What could be the reason for that? I tried opening it again, and re-seating the front panel, but it did not help.

Two possibilities. One is that the entire midframe is not seated under the contact points of the bezel. If you look carefully you will see the frame sitting up too. Fix, open iPhone again, when you close it up, carefully hold the glass down at the top of the iPhone and keep the frame under the contact points of the bezel at top as you close the iPhone. The other possibility, is if only the glass is sitting up by itself. Then the glass is not glued by the adhesive to the midframe perfectly. This is enhanced if the glass is not cut perfectly to fit the midframe, and the bezel as it pushes the midframe it pushes the glass up a bit. Fix, need to glue the glass down to the midframe very well.

What do we do if the glass is not glued by the adhesive perfectly, mine keeps coming lose?
