I decied to repair my screen by myself and I managed to pull it off. However, upon placing the screen back on, the phone occasionally restarts, as if I completely powered it off, then held the power button. The phone would also appear to not be able to be charged. Does anyone have any idea what is going on?
First, if the iPhone restarts then it capture log data. Check that log data and see.Sometime loose contact of battery to battery connector might also show that issues.
Try cleaning all of the connectors between the screen/battery/cameras/logic board with some alcohol and make sure they’re all seated correctly in the sockets. If the phone is still boot looping from here you can try disconnecting things from the board to see if any modular components are faulty. If you unplug everything from the logic board except for the battery and display, and the device is still boot looping, it may be worth trying to reset the device in DFU mode before replacing the battery or screen. If you’ve tried to wipe the board and aren’t able to, you should at that point take the device into a reputable repair shop to get a diagnostic of the problem.
