My Black and decker classic iron won’t power on when plugged in. When I shake the power cord it comes on temporarily.
@nugi_1 , Nugi , I think it sounds like you have a bad power cord(wires broken) from flexing and heat, very commonly found on iron cords. The links below go into pretty good detail on explaining and showing how to repair an iron with defective cord with simple tools, if you or a friend would like to give it a try. If the bad spot that needs to be cut out in cord is going to leave the cord too short any local hardware store should have a replacement cord. Good luck.
