Chosen Solution
While surfing the internet my laptop turns off on its own. Sometimes the “on” button works and sometimes it doesn’t. This is happening more and more frequently. I have the laptop raised on a cut-off egg carton so heat does not build up underneath. Help
It still seems to be overheating, there may be a build up of dust with the fan; I suggest using the; very helpful guides to help you disassembe and blow out the dust from your laptop. You can also bring it to a professional in your area; if you feel uncomrtable doing so.
