I have a front loading LG - WM3570HVA washer that had been giving an IE error. After testing the water pressure and cleaning out the inlet filters, it still continued. After researching the issue, we decided to replace the water inlet valve. After changing that there’s no water at all for regular washes. When I go through the test mode (Spin and Soil + Power) it sounds like everything but the pre-wash is working now. I can hear it making a buzzing sound like it’s trying to do something. On the regular wash cycle - same thing - no water at all now. Buzzing sound and then no water. When I run it on rinse and spin, it works. I’ve also tried using the diagnostic app from LG and everything gets a green check, but down below it says it has detected a delay in water supply time. So, I went ahead and switched out the pressure switch, but no luck. I can’t figure out what else to troubleshoot.

Hi @efpsat, Try replacing the new water inlet valve with the original and check if it at least now fills on all cycles. Which valve did you replace, the hot or the cold water? Was the new valve an LG part # 5220FR2006H - hot or if cold an LG part # 5220FR2075L? Only asking because was wondering if the water inlet valve was the cause of the buzzing sound i.e. not fully operating either because it was faulty or the wrong one. Here’s the service manual for the washer that may help. Unfortunately you have to purchase it. I couldn’t find a free download online, you may have better luck.
