Hi All I have recently had a problem logging into my laptop at startup and when I close the lid. When it says enter password, I put it in and then it says “Incorrect Password”. I try again and again and again and it keeps saying incorrect. I restart my computer, shut it down etc and try again and it still says incorrect password (even though I am typing it correctly). Restart, Shut Down, Try again and it just keeps saying incorrect. Then all of a sudden when I type it in it works. So frustrating but wondering if someone could help explain why this is happening. Note that this is at the login screen when the computer is first powered up, and I am typing the correct password everytime I try. I am using Windows 10 Pro Thanks
Try an external keyboard and see if that works. your keyboard might be faulty and not typing on character in your password.
I faced the same issue lately. The handy solution to this problem is not to try repeatedly. When you enter the password it says incorrect password and then it automatically redirects you to the login page after 10 seconds. Wait for that 10 seconds without clicking anywhere. and then type your password. It will work.
hi have you tryed to encrioty it or try debug or decrypt it it is eith thst or you might have to get an new computer also u might be hacked if you download any thing forgen like web broswers or something to that nature. Also you might need to do a system matic shut down
