Chosen Solution
So when I’m gaming, my monitor loses signal however my pc keeps running. In order to fix the problem I have to restart my PC. I have tried replacing my GPU and PSU so it’s a pretty good assumption that it isn’t one of these two components causing the issue. Also to note, this happens more often when I am running a more powerful game, and it also happens more often on a hot day - to suggest that the stem of the problem is something to do with overheating. This problem has been ongoing for a long time so any help would be much appreciated.
Hi @anjas What is the make and model number of the motherboard if a custom build or the make and model number of the desktop if a proprietary brand? How old is it? If more than say 4 years have you refreshed the CPU thermal paste and cleaned the CPU fan of any dust etc? Also is the case fan working OK and clean? How much RAM is installed? If insufficient for gaming it puts pressure on the CPU which drives up the temperature.
