My phone has no notification sounds internal malfunction
press the volume up or down when you do there should be a little menu screen that pops up to tell you the volume once you see look for a little gear icon or the word settings, tap on that then it should show you the volume for notification, media and calling, you can then drag the line for notifications to turn the volume up.
