I have a BLU Advance 5.0 that has very little space, so I wanted to use a micro usb stick to download music onto. I got the SanDisk Dual USB Drive 3.0 and my phone doesn’t recognize it. It works when plugged into a PC and my phone recognizes chargers/other plug-in stuff. Is the USB stick just not compatible with my phone? What can I do to fix it?

Hi @themoist You may have to connect it via an OTG adapter(example only) so that the phone “knows” it has to switch on power to the USB port to make the USB device work. The USB stick would not have this inbuilt. Just search online for Blu Advance 5.0 OTG cable to get results for suppliers that suit you. Here’s an image to show the difference between standard USB wiring and OTG USB wiring which enables the phone to recognize that it needs to supply power to the connected USB device.
