My PlayStation powers on then a black screen appears It says that i need to connect my DualShock 4 and when I do it says I need to connect a usb storage device and it must contain the latest update I’m not sure what to do
Try downloading the latest firmware from the Sony website, put it on a FAT32 formatted USB drive with the folder structure drive:\PS4\UPDATE\PS4UPDAT.PUP and put it in one of your PS4’s USB ports before turning it on. It should recognize the drive and start installing it once you get to the point you were getting stuck at before. I hope this helps! -Alec
