So I initialized my ps4 so now I need to setup my ps4 again but Everytime I get to the first step or the step of setting up my internet password it freezes so wondering if I need my ps4 fixed and how much it would cost
Most probably your PS4 hard drive is defective and suffering from bad sectors that impact its functionality. Try first to format the PS4 HDD then install the PS4 system software from scratch. If that didn’t work, you may need to replace the PS4 HDD with a new drive.
Hi! This do sound like a HDD problem! I think you need to get your harddisk replaced. It’s very easy to do this by yourself. You can put in any harddrive (as long it’s 2,5 inch SATA). Harddisks are not that expensive, so that’s a win. Guide: PlayStation 4 Hard Drive Replacement
