So I just decided to take apart my ps4 and clean the fan and I unplugged the power supply carefully and did everything was good until after I put it all back together, once I started playing it for about 5 minutes it shuts off all the power in my room repeatedly after I keep going down turning the breaker switch back on and getting on the console, idk if I damaged something or not but I was very gentle and still somethings wrong so I took it back apart and did a little more cleaning now I’m just sitting here clueless idk if I pinched the cable or the power supply is bad but can’t be it was working perfectly fine before I took it apart. I really don’t want to get another ps4. Any fix? Update (05/13/2020)
Did you try plugging it in any other room? does it have the same behaviour when plugging in other rooms? If yes it might be a faulty or short circuit somewhere in the power supply or ps4 itself.
I have the same issue. Sony needs to answer this. It just started happening and conveniently so. Are they trying to make people migrate to a ps5? I have moved my PlayStation around the rooms in my house, it still keeps tripping different switches.
