Hello all, I am posting to ask why the reception in my refurbished iphone 6 keeps dropping out? The iphone had the entire chassis replaced as the old one was too badly bent & damaged. Is it possible the after market chassis+parts are to blame for the reception errors? Or is it possible from the previous drop, the reception components on the logic board broke? Would the either work 100% or not at all? Any help is appreciated , thanks!

Your iPhone 6 housing actually acts as an antenna. It’s designed in a way to work perfectly with the design of the board itself. Having an aftermarket housing can easily reduce signal strength.

There is most likely a missing antenna screw that connects to the housing. OR you need a new dock connector OR- now I’m not 100% sure about this but - maybe a ground connection to the dock connector? Can someone correct me if the last statement is completely wrong? Asumming the antenna cable is connected and is not faulty itsself

Check this flex to be correctly connected and the copper field clear. https://d3nevzfk7ii3be.cloudfront.net/ig
