Why does my RPMs go up high every time I try to accelerate
Hey Barbara. Sounds like the clutch could be slipping. A repair for this would need to be done by a qualified service or mechanic. Then again, it could be as simple as being low on transmission fluid. Check this first.
I would take it to an AutoZone and see if their free computer readout will tell you anything.
