my screen has black and white vertical lines going up and down it still works
From what you are describing, it sounds like you are having some LCD issues. Posting a picture like @minho said would be best but this is a common thing among these types of devices. Please ask any other question and post any helpful pictures. One other thing I am think is that if you have black and white bar dropping down, you may have the infamous touch disease which causing touch issue every now and then or all the time.
