Chosen Solution
So I replaced the digitizer and it works most of the time. But sometimes the screen goes dark. The phone is on andgetting power because I can call it and it rings. Most of the time when it does this I’ll just press the home button and the screen will come back on. But today I had to do a hard reset to get it to come back on. Any ideas?
If the phone is turned on but the screen is going black, its most likely a backlight issue. I would look up local lab repairs where they do micro soldering before it gets more severe or go to a local repair shop to get a diagnostic.
