Hi Please can anybody point me in the direction of the microphone used when recording a audio clip on the galaxy S5, everytime i record my voice sounds very muffled and no the problem is not my voice :)
You need to clean out the tiny hole used for the mic. One is on the top of the mid frame the other is on the bottom. Stick a paper clip or pin in the hole just dont go in to far.
I have the same problem! I record lectures at my college. I used to have a Samsung Galaxy s3 and the recordings on that phone were crystal clear. Then I got the Samsung Galaxy s5 and compared to my s3 recordings, the audio sounds VERY muffled and quiet, which makes it extremely hard to listen to. This is only a problem for me on Voice Recorder because recording regular videos gives me the crystal clear audio.
