Scott Kraemer let us know the exact model number for your washer. Anyhow, F1 means that there is no communication between the motor and the control board. First you want to see if a rest will work. Unplug your washer for about 13-30 min and then plug it back in. See if that resolved. If not then the issue could be the control board. There are some relays that seem to be the culprit, but check for corrosion etc as well. Sometimes a quick resoldering of the relays can help.
